Ghoul RE Takizawa Kakuja

The Takizawa Kakuja is a legendary-tier Kakuja transformation in Ghoul Re. Based on Takizawa Seidou (also known as Owl), this Kakuja gives you access to an incredibly aggressive and high-damage moveset, complete with new animations, stat boosts, and visual changes.

Unlike Ken’s Kakuja which focuses more on brain-dead pressure and ease of use, Takizawa’s Kakuja rewards timing and punish setups, making it deadly in the right hands.

Requirements to Unlock Takizawa Kakuja

Unlocking Taki Kakuja is challenging — more so than Ken’s — and requires multiple progression steps across four stages.

Stage 2	Survive 2 Perma-Death Events while being on the Leaderboard (Ranked)
Stage 3	Defeat the Takizawa Boss Fight during a PD (Perma Death) event
Stage 4	Complete the “Path to Acceptance” and speak with the final NPC

🧠 Note: Each Kakuja path is unique per player. There are five different progression paths, and your assigned path can only be discovered by interacting with the Kakuja NPC during PD.

🗺️ How to Unlock Step-by-Step

🧪 Step 1 – Reach 10,000,000 RC

• Farm RC by completing missions, defeating NPCs, players, and consuming their bodies (Ctrl + B).
• Fragments and Kagune sacks help boost RC accumulation.
• Check your RC via Dr. Mado at the hospital (Press P to fast travel).

🕹️ Step 2 – Survive 2 Perma-Death Events While Ranked

• Being on the leaderboard is mandatory.
• You must not die during 2 separate PD events while ranked.
• This is one of the most difficult steps due to server targeting and randomness.

⚔️ Step 3 – Complete the Takizawa Boss Fight

• After completing the prior steps, speak to the Kakuja NPC at the construction site near CCG.
• If eligible, you’ll be sent into a boss fight against Takizawa.
• Defeat him to proceed.

🧠 Step 4 – Final Dialogue and Transformation

• Upon victory, speak to the NPC again. If everything is done correctly, the message “Don’t lose yourself now…” will appear.
• You now have Takizawa Kakuja.

⚠️ WARNING: If you spin off your Kagune, you will lose Kakuja access and must redo all steps. Do not reroll.

🧬 Activation

• Use Ctrl + J to transform into Kakuja form (must be on Ken or Takizawa Kagune).
• Once activated, you gain unique abilities, increased M1 damage, and visual transformation.
• Cooldown: 1 Hour
• Duration: ~60 seconds

💡 Some players consider the duration too short for the effort required. Expect high burst potential, but limited sustain.

🩸 Takizawa Kakuja Abilities

Once transformed, your base M1s and animations are replaced with custom claw strikes. You gain three devastating skills and a unique critical M2 variant.

[R] – Critical

• Performs a quick double-slash
• Can be comboed into or from
• M2 Variant: Downward slam instead of a horizontal strike

Z – Undisturbed Blitz

• Dash forward and perform a devastating, fast multi-hit claw combo
• Ideal as a gap closer or punish starter
• Hard to parry due to fast execution

X – Sadistic Dance

• A barrage of claw swipes ending in a wide knockback
• Can combo into M1 chains or be followed with C
• Excellent pressure and strong in group fights

C – Ravaging Execution

• Wraps around the enemy and delivers a crushing spinning slam
• Acts as a finisher and includes an auto-grip if enemy HP is low enough
• Some users report this causes a cutscene-like animation

💡 Auto-grip C-move triggers only on low-health enemies. Don’t waste it at full HP!

💡 Important Notes & Tips

• ✅ Pop Kakuja strategically — best used mid-fight or after a combo setup
• ✅ Use Z/X/C in fast succession for massive burst and pressure
• ✅ Don’t rely on Kakuja for hunger regen — unlike Ken, it doesn’t heal
• ⚠️ Cooldown is long (~60 minutes) — make every transformation count
• ⚠️ You lose Kakuja if you reroll your Kagune
