Quinques are special weapons used by human investigators (CCG members) in Ghoul Re. They’re crafted from a ghoul’s Kagune, which means they can be just as powerful as the real thing!
Quinques Tier List Ghoul Re

S Tier Quinques
1. Gginu (Craft-Only)
Extremely high damage and versatile moves.
- Key Point: You must craft it, so it takes more effort, but it’s worth it.
2. Jason (13’s Jason)
Hard-hitting moves with great crowd-control slashes.
- Key Point: Powerful critical attacks that break blocks and shred opponents.
3. Ex/A (Sometimes Called “Exa”)
Great combo openers and closers, high damage output.

(Nutcracker V2)

B Tier Quinques
Narukami (If Not Upgraded)
If you don’t unlock V2 or fail to use the ranged mode well, it’s only decent.
- Key Point: Potential to move up if you invest in its advanced features.
Demon Yamada / S. Sarat (Mid-Level Quinques)
Decent damage and combos, but not as explosive as top-tier picks.
- Key Point: Perfectly okay for mid-game or casual PvP.
C / F Tier (Low Tier) Quinques
Common Quinques (e.g., Scorpion, Cerie, etc.)
Low damage and fewer combo options.
- Key Point: They’re usually placeholders until you can roll or craft something stronger.
Important Tips
Version 2 Upgrades:
- Many Quinques get a huge power boost in their V2 form. If possible, always try to upgrade.
Rank & Resources:
- You need Investigator Rank 1 plus enough materials (e.g., Kagune sacks, steel) to get and craft high-end Quinques.
PvP vs. Farming:
- Some Quinques are better in player-vs-player fights (e.g., Jason, Nutcracker), while others have wide-area moves for farming NPCs. Pick what fits your style.
Practice Makes Perfect:
- Even an A or B tier Quinque can shine if you master the timing and combos.
Final Thoughts
- S Tier choices (Gginu, Jason, Ex/A, and Nutcracker V2) can dominate in most situations.
- A Tier offers strong options without the high cost of S Tier.
- Lower-tier Quinques can still be fun or serve as stepping stones, but you’ll likely want an upgrade.
Play around with different Quinques to see which style suits you best, and aim to unlock Version 2 for maximum power. Good luck out there, Investigator!
